Welcome to Broad Street Ward Club
Message to Members:
It is with regret that the Club has decided to suspend all social activities for the foreseeable future.
Naturally, as soon as the situation improves, your Committee will work hard to re-establish a good program of functions and visits, but at the moment it is obviously sensible to adopt the safest approach.
Good wishes to everyone
Broad Street Ward is one of 25 Wards in the City of London. It is situated in the heart of the City and contains six Livery Companies within its boundaries - the Worshipful Company of Carpenters, the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, the Worshipful Company of Drapers, the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, the Worshipful Company of International Bankers and the Worshipful Company of Plumbers. The Ward is also home to the Guild of Entrepeneurs and the Guild of Freemen.
The Broad Street Ward Club is an easy and enjoyable way to gain an understanding and appreciation of the traditions, history and current workings of the City. It is one of the liveliest social organisations in the Square Mile and has a varied and busy annual programme. It's a good first step into the Civic and social activities of the area and an excellent way to meet and socialise with a wide range of members and others involved in the City.
